Do I need to download an app?
No — Matters2U works entirely in your browser. Open it on your iPhone, Android, or computer. No App Store, no installation required.
How do I sign in?

Sign in with Google
Tap "Sign in with Google" and use your existing Google account. Quick — no new password needed.

Sign in with email
Tap "Create account" and enter any email address — Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, or others — plus a password.
Your data is tied to your account and only visible to you.
I signed in and see a blank screen. What now?
That's normal — you're starting fresh! Tap the
+ button to create your first folder. When you do, AI will instantly suggest event buttons to add inside it.

Tap any event button for an instant timestamped entry. Every tap records the exact date and time automatically.

Type anything in the bar at the bottom — AI handles the rest. No forms, no dropdowns.

Can I add notes to an entry?
Yes — after tapping a button or submitting a natural language entry, tap the entry to add a note, photo, file, URL, or your location.
Can I log something that happened in the past?
Yes — tap any entry to edit its timestamp and set it to when something actually occurred.
What is the "This Week" summary?
Each week, AI reads your recent entries and writes a short narrative — across all your categories. Give it a week of logging to see it in action.

The bar at the bottom of the screen does three things — just type naturally and AI figures out which one you mean:

Log an event→"Put gas in the Subaru" logs directly to the right button, timestamped automatically

Create a button→"Add Oil Change under Cars" — AI shows a preview card, you confirm, button is created

Move a button→"Move Oil Change to Subaru" — AI shows From/To preview, you confirm, button moves

Safety first: Create and Move always show you a preview before anything changes. Delete is always manual — AI will never delete a button on your behalf.
Does AI see my personal data?
Your entries are processed by AI to organize and summarize them. We never sell your data, never use it for advertising, and never use your entries to train AI models.
Each vertical template comes with a specialist AI companion. Tap the ? button inside any folder to chat with the companion that knows your situation best.

Vertical-aware: The ? button detects which folder you're in and automatically switches to the right companion — no need to choose manually.
Tap any logged entry to attach supporting information. Four types supported:

Examples: Attach a photo of your receipt to a home repair log. Add a location to a restaurant visit. Link to a product page on a warranty entry. Attach your doctor's after-visit notes to a health log.
Are my photos and files stored securely?
Yes — all attachments are stored in Firebase Storage, tied to your account, and not accessible to anyone else.
